Ingredients: Onion, savory, marjoram, garlic, rosemary, tarragon, thyme, sage, chervil, bay leaf.
Forest Lord is an excellent herbal blend that adds that basic and wonderful touch to all of your dishes. Add this to your sauces, or sautes for that warm savory taste you enjoy for your everyday and holiday dishes! I love using this in my home made stuffing for my family get-togethers.
Great for soup and white meat stew starters!
My Favorite Forest Lord recipe is when I make Crock Pot Chicken Stew...
Take 2 chicken breast, boned and skinless, along with peeled and cubed potatoes, carrots, parsnips, onion, whole garlic cloves and leeks, all cut into bite sized chunks, and placed into a large crock pot. Take 3-5 tablespoons of Auntie Arwen's Forest Lord and mix well into a pitcher of enough water or low sodium chicken stock to just cover the contents of your crock pot. I sometimes add salt if it's needed, but many times it's to taste. Pour into the crock pot, stir and cover!
Cook in the crock pot for 4 hours on high or 6 hours on low. Stir as needed.
Serve in bowls with crusty bread on the side... Makes 4-6 servings!
The BEST on cold winter days or for that tailgate party!
