Quick and easy dipping oil recipe is fast, and looks great for a simple get together for friends and family on Italian night!
In a small pan, pour in about 1/3 cup of extra virgin olive oil, and a 1/4 cup of Auntie Arwen's Basic Italian Bruscetta blend. Warm and stir gently on low for about 3 minutes. Don't let it smoke!!
Remove from heat and let cool. Serve in a lipped saucer with fresh sliced Italian or French bread.
Great conversation starter and appetizer for wine and pasta dishes.
Speaking of Pasta dishes... You can make the same dipping sauce as a pasta sauce for those who cannot do red or white sauce. Just warm and toss with ravioli or rigatoni.
One friend's go to is warming 2 tablespoons butter and about 1/3 cup of Auntie Arwen's Basic Italian Bruscetta blend in a medium pan until just well melted, then adding chopped onion, peppers, fresh tomato and zucchini and saute till they just brown, then toss onto cooked macaroni of choice... She says it absolutely amazing on cheese ravioli!
