Pecan smoked salt has a more delicate smokey smell than oak smoked salt, but a bit of sweet in fragrance and flavor. Excellent for sweet flavors like chicken or pork roasts, and especially vegetables like carrots or potatoes. Great as an accent on some candies but only as an acquired taste.
