Tom was one of our best friends during our growth as a company. He needed out help one day when his entire family basically came down with a bug and fever. We put our heads together and came up with this blend.
and it worked!..
then it was his turn...poor man.
We have a tisane for that!
Many of these herbs have centuries of use as medicinal herbs for the use against colds, flu, and fevers.
Especially Fever-Few. This herb was used during the middle ages as a cure for the local fever for children and adults alike.
Thus the name.
Calendula is known for it's pain relieving properties, while Orange peel is great for helping bring up your immune system, for where there is smoke, there's a fire. Ginger root and licorice root are great for circulation and nausea, it also helps speed up the recovery process. Spearmint and Chamomile are wonderful for relaxation and sleep, cause you need to rest while recovering...
So how does that go? feed a cold, starve a fever? or feed the fever and starve the cold? I never get that right.
