Previously known as "Sampan Sally", our China Black tea is a blend of many different types of teas from China, but the one most used is the Keemun tea leaf. In China, it's called the Red Tea because of the deep amber color that it produces when it's steeped. Considered highly beneficial for many health reasons, anything from bruises to depression and old age, it's one of china's, as well as ours, favorite beverages.
It's strong flavor, deep color and high caffeine content makes it a great base for blends for fruit teas, chia, and tisanes as well as it's own hot or cold tea. Pass the Tea Kettle!
