Regardless of the long list of chili peppers, this is actually a mild chili blend. Honest! Or at least someone's idea of mild....
I've had this and can say, it's a spice wimp's Confusion! It's hot for the first half of the dish, then becomes mild...
The Hot NM chili is about a 5-6k heat, while the Bull Canyon and Processor's choice chili peppers are at a "mere" 1-2k heat.
For spice wimps like myself, it's hot!
For lovers of Heat, it's considered very mild..
So I ask you, To Burn or Not to Burn,... That is the question!
But the flavors can't be beat!! Add a spoon (you choose the size) to a pot of cooked ground beef, red kidney and black beans, and crushed tomatoes, simmer for 15-20 minutes, serve with either sour cream and shredded cheese or additional hot sauce and choice, crusty italian bread and watch the spoons fly!
