Rinse and pat dry about 2 pounds of chicken breast. Cut and slice longways into tenders. Place on a non stick baking pan, and preheat oven to 425 degrees. Sprinkle on both sides of the tenders, Auntie Arwen's Elegent herb mix, enough to just cover. Let sit till the oven reaches temp.
In a bowl, mix in 1/2 cup sour cream, and 1/2 cup blue cheese dressing. Chill.
When oven reaches temp, place baking sheet on center rack in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes till golden.
Serve with celery sticks, carrot sticks, and the dip dressing. Great for picnics or youngsters/oldsters alike who love chicken.
I love making this sauce for thanksgiving or when I am serving any fowl.
After I have baked and basted the bird in the oven, and the bird is done, I take the drippings, about 1 cup of chicken broth (low sodium), about 1/4 cup of flour (whisked and premixed in the cold broth) and add 1 1/2 tablespoon of Auntie Arwen's Elegant herb mix, mix in a saute pan till smooth. Let boil for about a couple of minutes till thick. Remove from heat, stir smooth, and pour into a gravy boat or pour-able container and serve with the bird!
