Crazy Ivan is a description of a tactical move that completely surprises your opponent! This blend does just that! Just when you thought you were going to be bored because the blend is salt free, you come up "crazy Ivan!" The paprika, mild cayenne pepper, onion and garlic completely fool your taste buds into thinking they've gotten a hold of some really great savory salt like flavor while filling your mouth with flavor, texture and taste! But your mind is saying how can that be?, it's salt free!!!
Add this to your burgers, or your pasta sauce, or even as a dry rub on your chicken! Oh, baby!
One of my favorite recipes is Burgers!!
Take one pound of ground beef, 1-2 eggs, 1/8 cup of Auntie Arwen's Crazy Ivan blend,a small finely chopped onion, 1 cup of panco or plain bread bread crumbs and 1/3 cup of ketchup and mix the whole in a large bowl till well blended.
Take about 1/4 of the meat and roll around in your hand and flatten it into a disk about inch thick and 6" wide.
repeat with the rest of the meat blend till you have 4 burgers on a platter.
Grill/broil/pan grill on a medium heat for about 5 minutes per side but don't burn them! check on them at about 4 minutes. Flip and grill on the other side for 4 minutes or till the burger (thru the side to the middle) is reading 145 degrees for a medium rare burger or 160 degrees for a medium burger.
Serve on kaiser or burger rolls with all the burger fixings you may have in the fridge!
I usually like mine with Auntie Arwen's A Blast of Dill Refrigerator pickles on the side!
