Spice Packaging Information

We hand-pack most of our herbs and blends in 110 ml hexagonal clear glass spice packaging jars. Some items, notably the powdered chili peppers , are packed in 45 ml hexagonal spice packaging jars. A little of those puppies goes a loonnnnnngggg way!

For those of you who are metrically challenged, a 45ml jar holds a little less than 1/4; cup and a 110 ml jar holds a little less than 1/2 cup.

Items sold by weight (oz, 1/2 lb, lb) are packaged in plastic bags.
All Massage Oils are packed in 2 oz. plastic squeeze bottles w/turret caps.

If you care for Miscellaneous items, you might be interested in trying our " Mullein leaf, wild " in Cut / sorted form.

which is described as:

Put some in a pot of boiling water and breathe the steam to alleviate asthma.

Tea: 1 tsp leaves or flowers/c hot water, take 1 or 2 times daily. Mullein flower tea relaxes you and dulls pain; mullein leaf tea is good for coughs, bronchities, and haoarseness as it is a mild expectorant(be sure to breathe in the vapors as you suck on the tea!), as well as for digestive cramps.

For external use on inflammation or painful skin conditions, make mullein leaf tea with 1:1 water and vinegar. A warm poultice of mullein leaf is good for difficult wounds and sores.
