Description:From Guérande, Brittany, France, this is the salt which forms lily-pad-like floating deposits in solar salt evaporating pans. It is carefully hand-harvested during only a few months and during certain favorable weather conditions. Unlike sel gris (Breton grey salt), it is white with maybe a faint pinkish color. Makes for a delightful finishing salt, especially for salads, veggies, and meats.
