Some of you may remember horehound cough drops. They're hard to find these days, alas! Horehound is an expectorant, appetite stimulant, a mild sedative, and in quantity, mildly laxative. Do not use if you're pregnant. A store-bought horehound cough drop is probably OK; not a huge amount of the herb in those.
