Description:Tea: 1 tsp leaf/1 c. hot water; steep 10-15 min. Do not ingest during the first 6 months of a pregnancy!However, a nice tisane with red raspberry leaf in it might help during labor. A nice "very late pregnancy" to "I really want to have the baby now!" tonic, but don't overdo it, as it affects smooth muscle. Let your midwife/obstetrician know if you plan to take this.The tea is also a diuretic and, used as a wash, is astringent. Good for zits.
